This week (last week of June 2014) to see what we might do to get the Department of Defense to help with some cots or any other way they can, I sent off a request to the Citizen Queries branch of The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, Community Relations and Outreach.
I have also sent a contact to the USO, hoping they might have contacts or ideas and direction for our causes.
Both groups have made initial replies and I look forward to us working with them to get more done for our Uniformed Services members.
